Communications and Visual Arts graduate with over a decade leading and collaborating with teams in digital marketing and development.
Led planning, design and social media for the Nisenan “Homeland Return” fundraising campaign of the California Heritage: Indigenous Research Project. When it started in February 2024 the CHIRP had raised around $800,000; the campaign closed at $2,510,177. On a tight schedule I created the visual identity and delivered branded content that achieved the organization’s highest channel engagement. The story arc opened with a video capturing the urgency of the Nisenan cause, followed by meticulously researched captions outlining the historical timeline of their struggle.
Worked with a multidisciplinary team to boost ticket sales and registrations. We scheduled organic content two months in advance with a complete plan — captions, images and video — and built a team of media-savvy Brand Ambassadors to amplify ALPFA’s storytelling, with a strong focus on LinkedIn engagement. Visual identity for Most Powerful Latinas (Times Square billboards), Women of ALPFA and the Regional Student Symposiums.
Drove marketing for ticket sales and registrations for NRPA’s 2022 National Conference, capturing the essence of the event on the ground and leveraging its momentum. Also collaborated with NRPA’s digital team to visually enhance their website.
Social media banners and event videos for The Center for the Arts (Grass Valley, CA). Edited Girl Scouts of the USA’s Carpool Karaoke series (2018–2019) and produced animated program videos including STEM-education pieces.
Before marketing, my band reached MTV’s Top 10 charts in 2010 and performed at major festivals. Building and keeping a loyal following is directly transferable to brand audience engagement.
