A neon backlight fluid simulation for futuristic suspense. I used different degrees of fog density and emissive intensity.
While composing the lighting for the F-18 dogfight scene, I worked with fog cards from Easy Fog using volumetric fog as a backlight to separate the jet models from the background and use what viewers would identify as the sun as our key light.
